You will be guided & supported by Zara across 4-fun-weeks of learning a group choreography, with the 5th week to refine & rehearse, to then perform as a group at our ✨Celestial Showcase✨

Performance Day
💫 Saturday 30th May (at our Celestial Pole Showcase!)
‼️ Must be available to perform to participate OR have discussed with Zara prior joining the course.

FAQ

  • What if I can’t make or miss one of the trainings? - that’s okay! Life happens, we get it. Give Zara as much notice as possible for the day(s) you can’t make and she will adjust the routine.

  • Do I HAVE to perform to do the course? - Group choreographies rely on the whole group being present when learning & performing, and the intention of this course is to create a unique experience as a collective to share something new with our ONYX & pole community - HOWEVER - please discuss with Zara directly if you’re keen to do the course and not perform!

  • What if I feel like I need extra trainings - ONYX has self-training sessions available Monday-Sunday ($15 casual) for you to come in and train yourself if you feel like it! You can also speak with Zara of any concerns you may have, and your fellow troupe members (Zara will make a groupchat & share videos after each class for your reference!).

Attending your classes

Generally, for all Pole classes:

  • Please wear something that you feel comfortable in, that does not restrict movement. Pole, yoga or bike shorts are recommended.

  • Please do not wear jewelry during the class. Rings, bracelets and necklaces cause irreparable damage to the poles.

  • Do not apply oils or lotions to the skin prior to your class. They will make you slip off the pole and could cause injury.

  • Please bring a towel for personal use and a water bottle. We have a filtered water cooler to refill your bottle.

Cancellation

There are no cancellations or refunds for any missed classes within the Introduction Course packages.
